Black phosphorus

Black Phosphorus is attracting more and more attention as the last elemental semiconductor material. Many scientific research results have been reported from the viewpoint of its application to two-dimensional devices. In addition, it is also being considered to apply it to wider field as a new functional material, such as drug delivery platform, electrode materials and so on. It has been proved that the electrode of black Phosphorus-carbon composite can increase the charge/discharge capacity of ion batteries.
