Our company name comes from the uninhabited Rasa Island in the southern seas, where our founder discovered phosphate ore, a raw material of fertilizer, in the late Meiji era.
 Since its founding in 1913, we have responded to changes in the social environment by boldly taking on the challenge of business transformation. Today we are a comprehensive manufacturer comprising the three divisions of Chemicals, Machinery, and Electronic Materials as integrated manufacturer that supports industrial infrastructure to people’s lifestyle.
 Our core business today is the Chemical Division. We continued phosphoric acid technology for over a century and with its advancements, we are proud to have extensive experience in high-purity phosphoric acid for semiconductors.
 We will continue to fulfill our global supply responsibilities through establishing suitable production system and challenge higher added values and create new business.
 Additionally, in our Machinery Division, we focus on resource separation and development of resource recycling plant. And in our Electronic Material Division, based on rare metal recycling technology which we have accumulated over many years, we will perceive precise expanding demand for compound semiconductor in the next generation information and communication fields. Through those business developments, we will contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
 Rasa have to mapped out our long-term vision, “Rasa Vision 2033” for celebrating our 120th anniversary of the establishment of our company, moving forward for the realization. Each employee will have sense of ownership by cooperating and crossing department boundaries making “on-site capability” our strength.
